A Risk Worth Taking: The Jacobbi Corporation Story

A Risk Worth Taking: The Jacobbi Corporation Story

A small investment and high hopes led to unimaginable success

It's 1953, and Joe Jacobbi has just quit his job as a window trimmer to pursue his dreams as a restaurateur. Joe opens Casa Di Pizza with $2,000 in cash and a $1,000 loan from his family, and he soon begins serving fresh, authentic pizza to Buffalo, NY residents.

Looking back nearly 70 years later, the Jacobbi family recalls this story with fondness, because it was a defining moment in the Jacobbi Corporation's history.
